Yes, news! Nothing special. I just updated the countdown timer code to be 300% more efficient.

What does this mean to you? Well, since you probably have a computer that's less than 6½ years old, probably nothing. But for the rest of us, it means... not a whole lot, either. But inefficient code is bad code, no matter how insignificant!
